GLORY TO GOD!

Good Morning Family, the body of Christ seems slightly disillusioned about the presence, purpose and power of God. We seem to be far more comfortable with acknowledging the acts of men rather than the acts of God; just the other day I was intrigued by a very erroneous dialogue concerning miracles and the many myths surrounding them; one says they were performed only by the apostles (clear error) another names great men such as Elijah and others to have done them. Some believe that to receive a miracle requires great faith, as though faith alone makes it happen; yet none even mentioned the will of God! GOD performs miracles, and can do so whenever, wherever and however He chooses! It is not dependent upon a deep understanding of theological precepts, as I don’t think an ass has that, yet he spoke as a man! Jesus taught that some miracles were done that men might believe, not because they did! Other miracles were performed to establish the testimony of our Lord and savior; (that men might know) and even others were done in agreement with one’s faith. But know this, each and every one of you; it is God that deserves the praise, not the instrument; even Jesus acknowledged that He was doing the work of His father; we are Gods instruments (if that be the case) and we are not to esteem ourselves more highly than we ought. We are not just robbing God in tithes and offerings, but we are robbing Him of his glory! He has declared in his word, that He will not share His glory with another; so unless you are trying to be a proverb, I would give honor to whom honor is due; glory for the miraculous, belongs to the miracle worker himself GOD! To God be the glory for the things that He has done! Let’s not be taken captive by vain philosophy, but let us remain faithful to our Lord and savior Jesus the Christ; who was and is and is to come; He who rules without end; He who was from the beginning… let every knee bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory and Honor of God!  Bishop
